Yungaburra Folk Festival 1 October, 2009
A lot of my energy in October will be directed toward my role as Children’s Festival Volunteer Co-ordinator for the Yungaburra Folk Festival.
The theme this year is Growing the Music… which of course really appeals to me!
I’ve got some family members visiting over the weekend it’s on and I hope we can all have some fun times at the festival. xxx
Volunteering is good for the soul and you can get your dose of good cheer by signing up for this year’s Yungaburra Folk Festival. A raft of great benefits is up for grabs for volunteers who apply early. The volunteer coordination team has a mammoth job ahead of them allocating times and spots on the roster for a wide variety of activities. These range from staffing the ticket office and merchandise shop to helping with setting up, pulling down and maintaining the Festival site and everything in between.
