Menu Week Starting 3rd March 2 March, 2008

Well, the girls’ first week of menu planning went okay. We had to swap meals once due to time limitations. The Mexican bean and flat bread layer bake was super fast and yummy!

The post explaining my menu planning method is here. This week I’m back in charge of the menu and here it is:

Monday: vegie soup with split peas (cooked on Sunday - yay!), flat bread and flavoured yoghurt with banana for dessert (buy grocery items for rest of week today: cheese, potatoes, carrots, green veg, tomatoes, bread etc)
Tuesday: vegie quiche and salad
Wednesday: skin-on potatoes & salads - mama out at LETS meal/meet, will take cake for dessert to share
Thursday: pumpkin curry & rice
Friday: baked beans on toast (early) - rushing off to gallery opening in town
Saturday: enchiladas (mexe beans, mountain bread, salad items, avocado, cheese) and corn chips
Sunday: lentil patties on BBQ & salads

Baking: flat breads (Mon) and banana/date cake (Mon - freeze for Wed)
