Menu Week Starting 25th February 25 February, 2008
Brittany, Imogen and Abby planned the menu this week. They cook twice a week each, usually with my assistance but occasionally alone! They chose the meals for their nights, according to our weekly schedule etc as outlined in the Menu Planning post.
Monday: tuna patties and carrots, broccoli & homegrown beans
Tuesday: fried egg burgers (buy rolls and tomatoes - health shop Monday) - we have too many homegrown eggs! Dessert - banana & flavoured yoghurt.
Wednesday: wholemeal spelt fettucine with freezer sauce (tomato/lentil sauce bulk cooked 2 weeks ago)
Thursday: pumpkin & vegie soups mixed together (more frozen bulk cooking) & SOL foccacia from freezer. Dessert - mud cake.
Friday: mountain bread/mexe bean layer bake with salad
Saturday: stirfry & rice (buy more vegies before now, or hope for a bigger harvest!)
Sunday: roast vegies and salads (buy more vegies etc before now)
Baking: scrolls for lunches (freeze some), mud cake (buy 100g dark chocolate)
