December was delightful. A very mild start to summer for us in the Far North. We have really settled into our rented home and have enjoyed some leisurely holiday outings and lots of visitors and socialising.

AT HOME: We moved the last of our stuff (except the piano) up during December. Things are fairly organised here at home, though we chose not to unpack everything.
AT WORK: I finished my article for Education Choices - the first long piece I’ve researched and written in awhile. I am about to start editing the content for my section of the issue-after-next, as we’re trying to work around the conferences.

It was great to see my seasonal column in Natural Parenting Magazine when it arrived in my mailbox.

IN THE GARDEN: Everything is growing well in the vegie patch. The rabbits, possums, wallabies and friends haven’t found it yet! We’ve not fenced the garden and can’t believe that the vegie and herb patches are still intact. Touch wood.
HOME ED.: We’re on holidays right now, but the kids are enjoying good books and lots of socialising. Over the past couple of months, our family has been taking turns to read The Mastery Club, and we thoroughly recommend it!
