I think this one is originally from the Simple Savings site, where I get a lot of my recipes these days! Of course I’ve adapted it quite a bit… We had an excess of juicing carrots to use up this week, so I decided to make two cakes - one for dessert and one as a gift.

I was just saying tonight how disturbing it is that the government is in denial about Peak Oil and the global energy crisis. I’m not surprised to have stumbled upon this blog post by Green’s Senator Christine Milne.
What a pity more of our politicians aren’t of the same school of thought as Christine… Wake up Mr Rudd.
