I’ve never played a blog game before, but I’ve noticed this one on other peoples’ blogs and found the insights fascinating. I am almost certain I can’t come up with 8 fascinating facts about me, but I’ll still play the game…
I was tagged by Arun.
Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. Check out this article in Time magazine…
The book mentioned, Living the Good Life, was one of my favourite reads last year. Much food for thought on the self-sufficiency path.

It was quite surreal to hear John Taylor Gatto speak at the NHED Conference in Brisbane in May. Having read articles and books of his over a period of a few years, it all sounded so familiar but far more real. A little radical for some, but perhaps a real wake-up for those still debating classroom control, homework and class sizes…
Check out this interview on Radio National. Scroll about five-sixths of the way across the Breakfast Show to find the education section.
Also, this article in The Age.
And a couple of years ago I wrote this for Stepping Stones magazine.

With all the renos, building, new gardens and orchard, animals and the different climate up here, I have a lot to research at the moment. Every bit we can save on these new expenses will help us reach our goals faster.
